Virto instruments are Phonak’s custom-made hearing aids. They come in 4 sizes and 4 power levels.  The new Titanium IIC/CIC is pictured in the above image in the lower right.

The Phonak Virto V series hearing aids utilize Phonak’s Venture chip platform. These custom-made Phonak hearing aids can accommodate moderate to severe hearing losses. The “faceplate” of the hearing aid is matched to skin tone. The ‘shell’ of the hearing aid is custom molded the patient’s ear and can be in any color. 

The Phonak Virto  series hearing aids utilize Phonak's Venture chip platform. The 33 channel and extremely fast Venture chip features the AutoSense automatic processing that selects the best listening program depending on the listening environment. Multiple program choices are available for those patients who want to manually control their hearing aids.  

Wireless features are now available in the CIC (completely in the canal) hearing aids as well as the in the canal and full shell models. This enables 'one touch' adjustment of both hearing aids by the user as well as enabling wireless accessories.

Directional microphones are now available on mini-canal hearing aids (as well as the larger models); they are not available on the Nano instrument (invisible in the canal hearing aids).

Battery life is 30% longer in the Venture Platform hearing aids

The Phonak NaidaV series hearing aids utilize Phonak's Venture chip platform. This 20 channel and extremely fast Venture chip features the AutoSense automatic processing algorithm to select the best listening program depending on the listening environment. Multiple program choices are available for those patients who want to manually control their hearing aids. 

V 30 This is the most cost effective Phonak hearing aid...but it is hardly basic. Built on th 33 channel Venture chip, the V30 has 8 bands for programming the hearing aid to the patient's hearing loss. It has Phonak's state of the art anti-whistle system and automatic directionality to reduce background noise. The start-up program will be typically be automatic (AutoSense OS) but 2 additional programs are available.

V 50 The V 50 has 12 bands for programming the hearing aid to the patient's hearing loss. The Automatic program (AutoSense OS) automatically choses between memories for quiet settings, noisy settings with speech, and noisy settings without speech but this hearing aid also has 3 additional programs available.
